Mackenzie Anson, LCSW-r
Clinical Director
Throughout my career, my main focuses have been to ensure effective , clinically driven, patient centered and trauma informed care for children, adolescents , and adults.I received my Bachelor of Psychology in 2008 from Marist College and went on to obtain my Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University in 2012. I hold a professional license as a Clinical Social Worker in NY State. I have spent much of my professional career working in the mental health field, focusing on childhood and adolescent mental health and trauma.
Previously, I worked in a school based mental health clinic through the Office of Mental Health, and went on to be the Associate Director of a OMH behavioral health practice that had over 1,000 patients. This led me to being the Chief Program officer of a Residential Treatment Center for adolescents where my focus was implementing a trauma informed treatment model. I truly enjoy the field of social work and appreciate the opportunity it afforded me to assist children and adolescents in working through their past traumas and helping them identify there is a chance for a positive outcome. I Currently embrace this same focus as the Clinical Director at Never Alone, where my goal is to ensure we are providing high-quality, individualized care for teens facing addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders
